The 2022 forum will, among other things, evaluate current regional policy frameworks and financing mechanisms for disability programming in the region, including mainly those related to Disability-inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR) and inclusive education.
The expected event outcomes will be delivered through speeches, keynote addresses, and presentations from various inclusive DRR and education experts, including the Global Disability Advisor at the World Bank Group, specialists from international development organizations, representatives of community-based organizations of people with disabilities, just to mention a few. Key outcomes will also be achieved through breakout sessions, plenary, and panel discussions. In this context, the forum remains a convenient platform for various actors to continue learning from each other while contributing their valuable experiences and insights.
