Engaging and inspiring talks & workshops

The 2022 forum, among other things, evaluated regional policy frameworks and financing mechanisms for disability programming in the region, including mainly those related to disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction (DiDRR) and inclusive education.

The event outcomes were delivered through speeches, keynote addresses, and presentations from various inclusive DRR and education experts, including the Global Disability Advisor at the World Bank Group, specialists from international development organisations, and representatives of community-based organisations of people with disabilities, to mention a few.

Breakout sessions, plenary, and panel discussions also contributed to the key outcomes. In this context, the forum remained a convenient platform for various actors to continue learning from each other while contributing their valuable experiences and insights.

Key Thematic Areas?

Disability-inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR)
